Suessical

Cami and I went to a musical in draper called "Suessical". it was so good. It basically had some of the things from Seuss books, but it was more of "Horton hears a Who". I would love to take my Niece Olivia to go see it, she would love to go see it, she liked things like that. so maybe I'll take her next week.

Lunch

Saturday Feb 28th I went to lunch with my friends from High School. Cami, Valerie and I went to Cafe Rio' in Taylorsville on 5400 south. I was so much fun to catch up with everything that has happened in our lives. we started our lunch at 1:30 pm and I think we left cafe Rio' at about 5pm. needless to say the people were glad to see us leave they kept looking at our table. and coming by to clean. anyway it was fun. I think we should plan on doing something at least twice a month if not more.

New Music

Just added some music to our blog. It's mostly of songs that me and Vanessa used to listen to together. when we had the same taste in music. and some of the songs i just added for the hell of it. I did add some of Vanessa's music as well. Just the ones I can stand that is(LOL).

I remember so many good times with these girls. but the ones that stand out most are:



staying the night at Cami's and itching all night, finding out the next day that I had the chicken pox. and cami telling everyone at school(junior high). so when I got back to school everyone would tease me about it. especially the 2 guys we had crushes on.



the next one is when I went camping with Cami and her family. and sleeping in a tent. it rained and i froze my butt off. then the next day going horse back riding. so thinking I was going to be on the same horse with cami. since i have never been on a horse. NO!!!! she had to give me my own horse. well i seemed to be doing fine when out of nowhere the stupid horse decided to go on some rocks and get scared and buck me off. I fell and hurt my back that I couldn't even sit down.



I told Vanessa these stories and she told me that Cami was a bad influence. Come to think of it she was.......

Saturday night I went to my facebook party, to see some of my friends I went to High School with. they really haven't changed much. but it was so great to see them and catch up on their lives. I can't believe that i haven't seen them for like 23 years.

I have recently been going on to a website called "Face book" and it helps you find some old friends from High School and even Junior High School, or just Friends you want to stay in touch with.

Recently I have found 6 Friends that I went to Junior High and High School with. and we have decided to have a little get together to get acquainted again. and remember the good ol' days.

I am looking forward to It, and can't wait to see everyone again, they have pictures on their profiles and some haven't changed at all. I still want to find more people, but it seems like the ones I want to find aren't on Face book. well the one's I have found are truly the best ever.

Crazy

Tuesday February 17th is my parents 41st wedding anniversary. isn't that crazy what's even crazier is her parents have been married for almost 60 years.

Vanessa turns 17 on Wednesday February 18th. I can't believe I have a 17 year old. but then again she's the best thing that has happened to me, and I don't know what I would do with out her.

shootings in school

i can't believe that there was a shooting at kearns high school. they said that it was gang related. aren't all shootings gang related. the 16 year old boy that got shot died as the result. the parents said he wasn't even in a gang. its so sad that instead of fighting after school like in the old days when i went to school now its carrying a gun to school. i think they should have metal detectors like the airport has. some schools do have them. i think my old school Granger high has them. because of the same problems of shootings. that really makes me scared for Vanessa. hoping that her high school doesn't have problems like that. you think that your child is safe in school, they should be.

i remember when Vanessa went to elementary and had a lock down, because one of the neighbors of the school had a stand off with police and had a gun and was threatening to kill his wife, and i didn't know anything about the lock down until Tina called me and told me, so i ran to the school to find out what was going on.

snow again

i really thought we were done with the snow, but today its snowing once again, after a couple of days of it just raining. i guess its suppose to snow for at least a couple of days. i really hate this weather and really want summer or at least spring to get here. but it probably will be a long winter(yuck) i noticed on the news the other day that phoenix was 71 degrees (lucky) that really makes me want to move back there.

as for me and Vanessa we are doing alright. she has been working and going to school and of course spending some time with the friends.

Happy New Year

Vanessa went somewhere else to celebrate new year's eve with her friends(of course). as for myself i went to the Nguyen's for a little get together with other family members and we played games and ate and had fun. so all n all it was a great holiday. better then last year for me. i stuck with diet coke and had one beer. yeah for me lol

Merry Christmas

Well thank god Christmas is finally over. all n all it was a great day. except for the snow blizzard, that left us with 4 or 5 feet of snow. and then having our lights go out on Christmas day. they were out for 4 hours. but Vanessa got everything she had asked for. Her dad gave her some money so that she could get what she wanted. since its hard for him to pick something out that she will never use. so she decided to get an I-pod classic. she also got Guitar Hero world tour. from me she got clothes and shoes and all the other things a girl needs to survive.

Getting Ready for X-mas

not much happening with us, just trying to get ready for Christmas, I can't believe its almost here just 18 more days. Vanessa has her x-mas list done and believe me its not a short one. but she really wants a i-pod. i guess we will just have to see.

Twilight!!!!!!

Vanessa went to the Twilight premier on Thursday November 20th at Midnight. she said it was cool. but they changed some of the things from the book. I can't wait to go see it. can you tell we like twilight isn't our background cute!!!!!!!!!!!
