Vanessa's Graduation

Vanessa Graduated on Wed June 2nd, 2010 from Valley High School... the graduation was at the Sandy Expo Center. it was very good and emotional for me. seeing my beautiful graduate from high school. It started at 3Pm. and ended at 5Pm. she had to be there early though and I had to save some seats.

After the graduation our family went to Lone Star to eat, it was very yummy... I had to leave early because I was getting a migraine and was very nauseated.. but it turned out very nice for her. Her Step-Grandparents gave her a luggage set.. and we all gave her cards with money...

I am so very proud of her and her accomplishments in her school work, at times I must admit I really wasn't sure if she would make it this far, but once again she proved me wrong, and I know that once she sets her mind on something she goes for it, proving that she can do anything. Graduating is such a step for her to a brighter future and now she wants to go to college to become a Bio-Tech to learn all about the CSI field. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ibean inspired

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Expo center with Pat, Steph and Trisha. It was really nice there were a lot of companies selling their products, and one that caught my eye was a new company called"inspired bean". or Ibean for short. it is this bean that has writing on it like "Friendship" or "Money". and you pick out the one you want and make a wish or think of something you want to accomplish with that word before you plant it and watch it work magic.

I bought two of them, one says "Happy Family" and one that says"Money". let me tell you this it really does work. I planted them with the help of Olivia. I made my wish or thought before I planted them and the very next day the "Money" one worked. I was having trouble with my cleaning business slowing down and made a wish that to have it pick up again...the next day I got 4 new people. and still getting more. Now the Happy family one still needs to come true..having a little trouble with that accomplishment. The package said that they would begin to grow in 6-14 days. well mine started coming up in 7 days.

Finishing early

Vanessa has just found out that she will be finishing High School early, and her last day is Wed. She has finished 2 months ahead of all her friends. Thanks to the new school she went to for her Senior year. She will be graduating in June...

I am so proud of her. And I know that she is proud of herself for accomplishing such a great goal in her life. She still is planning on moving out and will probably be moved out by the end of this week. Now hopefully college is next on the agenda, she wants to go into Bio-Tech(CSI). I think that would be a great career move and exciting to learn...lets see....

Vanessa's Moving Out

Yes you heard right....Vanessa is now 18, moving in with her friends and leaving me all alone...lol
Not sure how I feel about this... its been really hard to accept....I have know this for about a year, since the day she told me "When I'm 18, I am so out of here". Okay maybe not those exact words.

I have tried to tell her what comes with supporting yourself.....She doesn't realize how good she has had it with no bills but a Cell Phone. Now she has to Pay for Rent, half Utilities and her Cell Phone bill......I give her 2 months a she'll be back...

She is planning on moving out this week..... And I have put it out of my mind..guess it will hit me when she is actually moving her stuff out of her room...

I am hoping that this step in her life, brings us closer together. And that she will want to see me more...Yeah right!!!!!!!!!

Will keep you up-dated on her situation.....As I am writing or actually typing this I am in tears so I will not talk about it anymore...

Christmas

Vanessa and I had a great Christmas this year. She wasn't disappointed in anything that I got her. She wanted a new Cell Phone and DJ Hero. So that was her main gifts and a few new clothes which she always needs.

She gave me a Camera and a great big blanket for my bed. I think everyone knows that I am always cold. I got 2 blankets and a snuggie. And of course some warm clothes as well. Love my Camera. I have had the other one for like 5 years and it was always needing batteries. I mean really who gets batteries for a stupid camera, get with the times. Anyway this one I just need to charge it and go. plus it does the cropping and red eye removal on the camera so I really do not need to do any editing when I load them on to the computer. Hopefully in time my pics will look as good as Tina's(LOL)

Vanessa's Photo shoot

About a week ago Vanessa and Tina went to a place by the Solitaire to take some pictures for Vanessa's senior picture. Tina has been taking a lot of pictures and is really good. She ended up taking at least 300 pictures and they all turned out good, it will be hard for me to pick a certain one. Now I need Tina to take a picture of me and Vanessa, since we haven't had a decent photo for along time.

Wow, I really need to keep up-dated on my blog. well about a week ago Friday Sept 4th. Vanessa and I along with her friend Toni and mom Jenn decided to go to Park City for the night kinda to celebrate my birthday(Sept 5th). We stayed at Holiday inn which is a very nice hotel.

Friday after we got there we checked in and freshened up, then went to main street to get something to eat. went back to the hotel and let the girls swim for awhile. Saturday we got up and ate breakfast (okay brunch). and decided to go back into Park City to do a little more sight seeing. all n all it was a good Birthday.

On Saturday June 27th Vanessa and I went with some friends of High School to lunch and then to get a pedicure. it was so worth. Me and Vanessa have never had one and so it was kinda special and so relaxing. plus, massage chairs what else could you ask for. especially after the Friday that I had, Cleaning 2 houses what a joke.

Keeping Busy

I have been so bored at home and wanting to get out of the house. So I decided to Start cleaning houses for some money and help with my boredom. it has been good so far. I have only done one house and then I have another this week, the lady needs me to deep clean her house so that will be some work. Vanessa said she would help me when she had some time and days off.

Its only going to be temporary just till I can find a good steady job, it has been so hard trying to find a good paying and decent job. But I know one's out there. til then we will just clean some houses.

Vanessa was in charge of music for a fashion show they did for her school. it was really good. The volume for the music was kinda loud, but she said that she would turn it lower and then someone else turned it up. they even had an Extreme Makeover for 3 teachers who really need it, but I think all teachers need a makeover. Even the Principle had a makeover.

Thursday March 26th, Vanessa and I went to St. George for My cousins wife's baby shower on Saturday, we went with martha and Lyndzay.

It was a girl weekend, or mother/daughter weekend. as Jannice and Hillary from Phoenix went, also Carisa from Salt Lake City, Utah. Terri and Jocelyn Rojas from Phoenix, Az. we had so much fun. and it was so much fun to get away from this snow and ugly weather. The sun was shining so much in St. George I didn't want to leave.
